Aho is the thread. In te reo Māori, it is the cord that connects, the line that holds, and the bond that binds people to each other and to the land. Our name was chosen deliberately, not as branding, but as belief.
Every decision we make, every relationship we build, and every product we grow is an expression of that thread. The aho between people and whenua. Between past and future. Between healing knowledge and those who need it.
The horizontal threads of woven flax, the aho holds the structure together. Without the aho, there is no weaving. Without connection, there is no company.
Our operation is rooted in Hawke's Bay, ancestral land that gives identity, purpose, and sustenance. The whenua is not a resource. It is a responsibility.
